Same as normal Prius, PLUS an additional battery for an electric only range of around 10 or 11 miles. For those that have a short commute, you could potentially drive on 100% electricity each day. The 4.4KW battery in my area costs about .24 cents to recharge at night. I get about 8 or 9 miles before the normal prius mode kicks in (running the AC on high in Texas!). At a 10 mile range, (in my area gas price is about $2.75/gal), it would be equivalent to purchasing a gallon of gas for $1.20/gal or 114 MPG equivalent. For those that have a 20 or 30 mile commute everyday, average out the normal 50 +/- MPG of the Prius with 9-10 miles of 100+ MPG (depending on electric/gas cost in your area), and you end up averaging 60,70 or more MPGe. Comes with factory 110V charger (plugs in normal outlet). I purchased this car earlier this year, but I no longer commute as planned. This is perhaps one of (if not THE) LOWEST mileage 2012 Prius Plug In Advance in the country. This car had a sticker price of $40,000 (not $28K like a base prius). Car originally from California. No rust or corrosion issues. Everything is working to my knowledge. (Lots of features and options) Car was in a minor rear end collision/or they backed into something before I owned it. The rear bumper cover was replaced and the side quarter panel was repainted. You can see a little bit of paint chips when it was put back on and rubbed against the rear tailight. Overall very good condition, with a few rock chips in the front. Personally, I do not like purchasing cars from a distance or sight unseen. I would highly recommend you hire a 3rd party inspection service (Lemon Busters, etc) to inspect the car for you. I believe you will be satisfied with the car (as I have), but with all major purchases I'd encourage you to check it out yourself. Since I've owned the car:Tires were replaced at 32,000 miles and have remaining NTB warranty Windows were professionally tinted (including the front with CLEAR UV tint, yes it's legal in Texas and most states) plus a custom sun shade to protect the interior As far as value, I've owned many vehicles over the years and am familiar with how much values can fluctuate on LOW MILEAGE and RARE cars (this car is both). Blue Book is not always accurate or reflect the actual price a vehicle will sell for between two private individuals. (values are often based on dealer auction averages which do not reflect private sales) That being the case, I know what I believe the car is worth and have also researched other sales. Here is some of what I have found for other PLUG-IN Models (normal prius is NOT comparable or comprable for value) This car will go to the right individual that recognizes the value of the car.
